Sacred Pilgrimage Site

Srisailam is one of the most important pilgrimage centres in India, housing the Mallikarjuna Jyotirlinga - one of the twelve sacred Jyotirlingas dedicated to Lord Shiva. Located on the banks of the Krishna River in the Nallamala Hills, this ancient temple town combines spiritual significance with natural beauty.

The town is also home to the Bhramaramba Temple, making it one of the 18 Shakti Peethas. This unique combination of Shiva and Shakti worship makes Srisailam a spiritually significant destination for devotees.
